Dubai Chambers announced the signing of a memorandum of understanding with the National Association of Software and Service Companies to promote joint work on agentic AI. The agreement will facilitate strategic partnerships among stakeholders in the innovation ecosystems of Dubai and India while emphasising the exchange of knowledge and expertise. It further calls for the launch of joint initiatives, including specialised business events that connect companies, investors and entrepreneurs from both locations. The statement from Dubai Chambers noted that the MoU will help leading Indian firms in agentic AI and deeptech secure opportunities and integrate into the emirate’s wider innovation network.

H.E. Mohammad Ali Rashed Lootah, president and CEO of Dubai Chambers, placed the agreement within the context of a pioneering global initiative to advance the private sector’s use of agentic AI. “Dubai’s efforts to support the private sector’s transition towards Agentic AI represent a pioneering global initiative to strengthen the competitiveness of the business community and help companies capitalise on advanced technologies and their applications in the future economy,” Lootah said. He noted that expanding international cooperation builds an integrated ecosystem supporting adoption of the technology by businesses, improves efficiency and productivity, and opens new avenues for economic growth. Lootah added that such partnerships will reinforce Dubai’s leadership in advanced technologies and speed their incorporation into business models across sectors.

NASSCOM represents the interests of India’s $315 billion technology industry and counts more than 3,500 member companies that range from startups to multinational corporations, according to the statement. This network equips the Indian association to assist in directing specialised firms toward Dubai as a base for regional operations. The MoU’s emphasis on deeptech expansion aligns with the emirate’s objective of becoming a centre for future industries and digital innovation.

As part of its responsibilities in driving the private sector transition to agentic AI, Dubai Chambers established an Executive Committee for the technology in June. The committee works to accelerate adoption, improve business community preparedness for global developments, and strengthen Dubai’s standing as a hub for the digital economy and emerging sectors, the statement said. Its duties encompass approving targeted training tracks in agentic AI for business groups and councils under the chambers. The panel also designs incubators for relevant companies and fosters knowledge sharing to build capacity and competitiveness.

The committee’s formation reflects a structured approach to equipping local enterprises with the tools to integrate autonomous AI capabilities. Dubai Chambers’ statement indicated that these steps will help companies leverage advanced applications to maintain an edge in the evolving economy. Collaboration with NASSCOM extends this framework by incorporating established expertise from one of the world’s largest technology markets.
