The Real Estate Registration Department at the Ministry of Justice reported that sales contracts registered between September 20 and 24 totaled QR516.36 million while residential unit contracts added QR66.74 million to bring overall trading to QR583.1 million. The department’s weekly bulletin detailed how the traded assets spanned vacant land, houses, residential buildings, a service building, commercial structures and individual residential units across the period. Sales activity occurred in a broad set of locations, underscoring sustained interest in both established municipalities and newer developments.
According to the department’s bulletin, transactions concentrated in the municipalities of Al Rayyan, Doha, Umm Salal, Al Wakrah, Al Daayen, Al Khor and Al Dhakira as well as Al Shamal. Additional deals were recorded in Lusail 69, The Pearl Island, Al Wukair, Al Gharafa, Al Kharayej and Ghar Thuaileb, reflecting demand spread between urban cores and emerging districts. The ministry figures show this geographic distribution has remained a consistent pattern in recent weekly reports.
The Real Estate Registration Department noted that the preceding week of September 13 to 17 generated more than QR370 million in total real estate trading through similar sales contracts and residential units. That followed an earlier week in which volumes surpassed QR586 million, indicating fluctuating yet elevated activity levels through September. Department data places the latest seven-day total as a rebound from the immediate prior period while remaining below the mid-month peak.
A separate ministry assessment covering all of August 2026 placed monthly real estate trading at QR1.29 billion across 424 individual deals. The Real Estate Registration Department reported that Doha, Al Rayyan and Al Daayen led in value during that month, followed by Al Wakrah, Umm Salal and other municipalities in transaction counts. These monthly aggregates provide context for the latest weekly figures that form part of an ongoing series of bulletins tracking market momentum.
The department’s latest bulletin highlighted that the mix of property types traded during the September 20-24 window aligned closely with patterns observed in prior weeks. Officials have continued releasing the data on a regular schedule to offer transparency into Qatar’s property market performance. Such periodic updates allow stakeholders to monitor shifts in both volume and geographic focus across the sector.
