QNB Group released its unaudited interim condensed consolidated financial statements for the period ended September 30 showing net profit attributable to equity holders of QR13.317 billion. That figure represents a 4 percent increase from QR12.829 billion recorded in the first nine months of 2025. Earnings per share climbed to QR1.37 from QR1.31 in the year-earlier period according to the same disclosure.

Total assets stood at QR1.46 trillion at the end of September an increase of 5 percent from September 2025 the statements published via the Qatar Stock Exchange indicated. The expansion continued the momentum seen at the halfway mark when assets had reached QR1.438 trillion at the end of June. Growth stemmed chiefly from loan and advance portfolios across the group’s domestic and international operations a QNB Group filing showed.

QNB Group chief executive officer Abdullah Mubarak Al Khalifa highlighted the outcome in the material accompanying the results. Al Khalifa said the nine-month performance reflected the strength of the group together with its sustained focus on execution strategy. “Our international presence and established customer relationships enabled us to support companies in their investments and growth while our financial strength allowed us to seize high value-added opportunities with confidence” Al Khalifa stated.

The latest figures build on the QR8.7 billion net profit posted for the first half of 2026 which itself rose 3 percent year on year according to the group’s July announcement. Net profit before hyperinflation effects for that six-month period had increased 12 percent to QR11.1 billion the earlier QNB Group statement reported. Operating income for the first six months rose 11 percent to QR24.1 billion demonstrating diversified revenue generation the bank noted at the time.

QNB Group maintains its standing as the largest financial institution in the Middle East and Africa region by asset size according to its own investor presentations from earlier in the year. The group’s efficiency ratio has remained among the strongest in the MEA peer group with the cost-to-income measure at 24.1 percent in the first half. Total equity reached QR130 billion by June an increase of 10 percent from the prior year the QNB Group mid-year data showed.

Banking activity across Qatar has exhibited steady expansion supported by robust domestic economic indicators a Qatar Central Bank overview of sector trends confirmed. QNB Group’s international network spanning more than 30 countries has contributed to its ability to capture opportunities in varied markets the group’s disclosures have consistently highlighted. Loan loss coverage stayed near 99 percent at the halfway stage reflecting the conservative risk approach detailed in QNB Group reports.
