Forbes Middle East selected Mohammed Miandad VP for its annual Top Healthcare Leaders 2026 list covering founders and shareholders, according to the publication’s assessment released this month. The recognition positions him as one of two Qatar-based entrepreneurs on the 50-person compilation that weighs factors such as company scale, ownership, operational impact, innovation and sustainability practices. Miandad serves as chairman and managing director of both 33 Holdings Global and Naseem Healthcare.

Under his guidance 33 Holdings Global has developed a broad healthcare platform in Qatar built around Naseem Healthcare, the leading private provider, together with ABM4 Scientific, ABM4 Trading and Dfine Dental Lab. The group’s activities span healthcare delivery, specialty treatments, artificial intelligence applications, digital solutions, medical supplies, dental laboratories, rehabilitation services and professional education. Naseem Healthcare has focused on facility upgrades and service enhancements to match global clinical standards.

The organisation has advanced through launches of new specialty centres, technology partnerships and targeted investments aimed at improving availability of high-level care. Miandad also holds the role of chairman and managing director at Medinova Healthcare in Africa, supporting the group’s international expansion. These steps form part of a pattern in which Qatar-based operators have increased their regional and cross-continental presence.

A MarkNtel Advisors analysis forecasts that Qatar’s healthcare market will rise from $15.2 billion in 2026 to $16.6 billion by 2032, registering a compound annual growth rate of 9.35 percent. State budget figures allocate 25.4 billion Qatari riyals to the health sector this year to fund infrastructure, specialist centres and greater private participation. Hamad Medical Corporation reported delivering 25 million healthcare services during the first six months of 2026, including 1.5 million outpatient visits and 40,000 surgical procedures.

Forbes Middle East’s parallel executives ranking featured five Qatar representatives out of 100 entries, with the UAE leading at 57 places and Saudi Arabia following at 27. The founders list similarly reflects private-sector momentum in addressing rising demand for advanced and specialised services. This marks the fourth successive year that Miandad has featured in the founders compilation.

The recognition coincides with heightened focus on non-communicable diseases, which account for a substantial share of patient cases according to sector data. Private entities such as those controlled by 33 Holdings have expanded capacity alongside public providers while introducing digital tools and specialty offerings. Sustained investment across both segments is projected to support further development of the national healthcare ecosystem.
