The Emirates News Agency reported that in the presence of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, 11 Dubai-based companies pledged to integrate Agentic AI into their operations with the support of Dubai Chambers. The firms, representing diverse sectors, are Emirates, DP World, AW Rostamani Group, Al Ansari Exchange, Dubai Islamic Bank, Kitopi, Dutco Group, Aster DM Healthcare, Innovo, Independent Food Company and HSA Group. This step advances the private sector Agentic AI transformation programme launched in May by Crown Prince Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, which seeks to position Dubai as a global leader in the technology.
Dubai Chambers oversees the programme and has introduced specialised training tracks aimed at more than 14,000 companies affiliated with its Business Groups and Business Councils. The training, delivered through the newly launched Dubai Chambers Academy e-learning platform, focuses on practical integration of Agentic AI into administrative and operational activities. Additional elements include incubators for Agentic AI companies, opportunities for young entrepreneurs and dedicated funds to support the shift, all aligned with directives from senior leadership.
A Dataiku-commissioned study found that the UAE stands among global leaders in AI agent adoption, with 62 percent of chief information officers reporting more than 50 agents active in their organisations. The 2026 Global AI Confessions Report, based on input from 685 CIOs across eight countries including the US and UK, placed the UAE well above the 9 percent global average for organisations operating over 500 agents. UAE respondents also led in plans to recruit AI specialists, with 22 percent expecting to add more than 10 such roles in the coming year.
Market Research Community analysis found that the UAE Agentic AI market stood at USD 46.8 million in 2025 and is projected to reach USD 624.6 million by 2032, expanding at a compound annual growth rate of 44.8 percent. The growth trajectory benefits from government strategies such as the National AI Strategy 2031 and Dubai’s focus on innovation under the D33 economic agenda. Strong regulatory frameworks and venture capital availability have further accelerated enterprise adoption across key industries.
Zawya reported that the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority transformed 76 percent of its services into agentic AI-powered offerings within 90 days, covering 16 of 21 total services. These include electricity and water supply activation, technical notifications and payment reconciliation frameworks, with the remaining services scheduled for completion in the coming months. Managing Director and CEO Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer stated that the advances align with leadership directives and build on DEWA’s AI roadmap initiated in 2017.
The participating companies operate in aviation, logistics, financial services, healthcare, food and construction, illustrating the programme’s cross-sector scope. Their involvement follows the formation of an Executive Committee for Agentic AI by Dubai Chambers to prepare businesses for technological shifts and reinforce the emirate’s digital economy status. Training and knowledge-sharing efforts continue to expand through the academy platform to sustain long-term capability building.
