Ali Bu Sharbak Al Mansori delivered the chamber’s position during the closing ceremony of the 2026 Summer Innovation Camp for Entrepreneurship organised by the Young Entrepreneurs Club under the Ministry of Sports and Youth. The event at Andaz Doha drew entrepreneurs along with representatives of sponsoring organisations and other stakeholders with Qatar Chamber partnering alongside Qatar Science and Technology Park. Al Mansori highlighted how such programs contribute to building a generation ready to support Qatar’s shift toward a knowledge-based economy.
The acting general manager described the camp as an interactive setting that allowed participants to explore talents while building teamwork and practical business understanding suited to their ages. “The ideas, projects, and achievements of tomorrow begin with nurturing a generation equipped with knowledge, self-confidence, creative thinking, and the ability to turn ideas into initiatives and scalable projects,” Al Mansori said according to the Qatar News Agency report on the event. Qatar Chamber has maintained partnerships with the Young Entrepreneurs Club to advance multiple youth-oriented initiatives that develop entrepreneurial capabilities.
Al Mansori outlined the chamber’s broader dedication to backing programs that help young Qataris convert concepts into viable enterprises as part of national economic aims. These collaborations extend to various entities focused on entrepreneurship development the acting general manager added. The approach seeks to strengthen innovation across the private sector while aligning with long-term development objectives.
Dr. Ibrahim Al Sulaiti chairman of the Young Entrepreneurs Club characterised the camp as a national platform for youth during his remarks at the same ceremony. “The camp represented a national youth experience, pointing out that it was not merely a series of general training programs, but a genuine platform for young people to test their ability to make an impact, take action, and build, transforming an idea into a model, a model into an opportunity, and an opportunity into a project that can contribute to the economy and society,” Al Sulaiti said. His comments underscored the program’s focus on moving from concepts to tangible economic contributions.
The camp and chamber involvement tie directly into Qatar National Vision 2030 which the government’s planning portal presents as a framework for sustainable development through innovation and economic diversification.
