Emarat has entered a strategic agreement with Dell Technologies to deploy advanced artificial intelligence tools that will streamline operations and improve decision-making processes, according to a statement issued by the companies. The memorandum of understanding outlines joint initiatives focused on AI-driven analytics, predictive modeling and automation tailored to the energy distribution sector. This development reflects ongoing momentum in the UAE where multiple public and private entities have pursued similar technology partnerships over the past year.
The pact will enable Emarat to integrate Dell’s AI infrastructure solutions into its network of service stations and logistics systems, the statement said. Training programs and technical workshops form a core component of the collaboration, targeting both technical staff and management teams. Public Authority for Technology and Digital Transformation figures indicate that AI-related investments in the UAE have grown by more than 25 percent annually since 2023 as the country implements its Centennial 2071 vision.
Under the agreement, the two organizations will identify specific use cases for machine learning in fuel demand forecasting and equipment maintenance, according to the joint release. Emarat operates one of the largest petroleum retail networks in the emirate of Dubai and has increasingly incorporated data analytics to support its sustainability targets. A Mordor Intelligence industry assessment projects the regional AI market in energy applications to expand at a compound annual growth rate exceeding 15 percent through 2030.
Dell Technologies will supply specialized hardware and software platforms designed for high-performance computing environments, the statement indicated. The partnership builds on Dell’s established presence in the Gulf where the company has supported more than a dozen similar memoranda with government and private sector organizations in the past 18 months. Officials from both sides emphasized the need for localized AI capabilities that align with regulatory standards for data security and ethical deployment.
The initiative aligns with broader UAE government efforts to embed artificial intelligence across key economic sectors including energy, transport and finance, Central Bank of the UAE reports show. Emarat’s adoption of these technologies is expected to yield efficiency gains while maintaining service reliability for its customer base that exceeds one million daily transactions. Industry benchmarks published by the Dubai Chamber of Commerce place technology spending in the petroleum retail segment at roughly AED 1.2 billion in 2025.
Executives described the memorandum as a foundation for long-term innovation that positions Emarat to respond to evolving market dynamics, the companies said in the release. Follow-on phases of the program will evaluate pilot projects before wider rollout across the organization’s facilities. The collaboration adds to a growing list of public-private technology alliances that have characterized the UAE’s digital economy expansion over the past decade.
