Invest Qatar has wrapped up a high-level roadshow in New York and Boston that strengthened ties with leading American investors and businesses. According to the agency, the program was anchored by its role as an official partner at the Qatar Economic Forum UNGA Special Edition 2026, which took place in New York on September 20. The itinerary incorporated numerous business-to-business meetings, networking events and a specialized roundtable discussion jointly hosted with international law firm DLA Piper. These activities formed part of broader initiatives to expand economic collaboration between Qatar and the United States across priority sectors.
The delegation presented Qatar’s competitive advantages, including its advanced infrastructure and integrated innovation system, to audiences in both cities. Discussions centered on high-growth areas such as technology, biotechnology, life sciences and healthcare, which align closely with national diversification priorities. Among the US entities engaged were Arbor Biotech, focused on gene-editing for potential genomic cures, Alloy Therapeutics, which employs artificial intelligence platforms for drug discovery, software and integration specialist Entech, and Enveda, a firm advancing biotechnology through metabolomics and automated laboratory systems.
Several agreements emerged from the engagements, demonstrating immediate results from the outreach. A memorandum of understanding was concluded with LG NOVA and Aurion Capital to support technology investments and the commercialization of high-growth ventures. Invest Qatar also partnered with Apex to enhance the asset servicing and financial services ecosystem within the country. An additional collaboration with Brain Co will facilitate the company’s entry into the Qatari market and promote wider adoption of artificial intelligence solutions for digital transformation.
The roadshow outcomes contribute to a pattern of rising foreign direct investment into Qatar. Invest Qatar figures show that the country drew $3.4 billion in FDI in 2025 through 373 projects, marking a 52 percent increase in the number of projects compared with 2024.[[1]](https://www.invest.qa/en/media-centre/news-and-articles/qatar-records-strong-fdi-momentum-in-2025-with-52-increase-in-new-projects-and-34bn-in-investment) The United States ranked among top contributing countries in recent tallies, supplying capital across 53 projects valued at $587 million during that period according to agency data. Such missions help translate investor interest into diversified commitments that support long-term economic goals.
Invest Qatar continues to integrate these roadshows into its global strategy for attracting quality capital inflows. The agency has prioritized direct stakeholder interactions during major international gatherings to highlight alignment with the Third National Development Strategy. Further initiatives of this nature are planned to maintain momentum in key markets including the United States.
