Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed reviewed a report detailing real estate activity across Dubai in the first half of 2026. The document showed that 104 projects reached completion with a combined investment value of approximately AED 111 billion. These projects supplied more than 24,000 new real estate units to the market. The value marked a 52 percent increase and the unit count a 36 percent rise compared with the first half of the previous year according to the figures shared by the Crown Prince.
In a social media post on August 20 Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed said “I reviewed the report on real estate projects completed in Dubai in the first half of 2026 which highlights the sector’s continued growth.” He added “A total of 104 real estate projects with a combined investment value of approximately Dh111 billion were completed representing an estimated 52% increase. These projects also added more than 24,000 new real estate units in Dubai up 36% compared with last year.” Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed stated that the figures reflect the visionary leadership of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. He noted that they reaffirm the strength and resilience of Dubai’s real estate sector and the growing confidence in its investment and business environment.
A TruHauz report placed total property sales in Dubai at AED 286.43 billion during the first half of 2026. That performance ranked as the second-highest first-half result in the emirate’s history. The sales figure covered 86,005 transactions across residential buildings land parcels and other categories.
The report reviewed by Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed did not furnish a detailed breakdown of the 104 projects into residential commercial or industrial categories. More than 24,000 units entered the market through those completions during the six-month period. Dubai Land Department figures have shown sustained foreign buyer interest supporting transaction volumes in recent years.
A W Capital Real Estate Brokerage assessment found that the real estate project pipeline in Dubai exceeded AED 275 billion for 2026. The brokerage reported that developers registered 250 new projects during the first six months. One mega project announced by Emaar Properties accounted for an estimated value of up to $54.4 billion within that pipeline.
The Real Estate Regulatory Agency maintains oversight of project registrations and handovers throughout the emirate. Dubai Land Department data encompasses all completions counted in the half-year report. The latest delivery numbers add to supply in a market where first-half sales reached the AED 286 billion level according to the TruHauz compilation.
